The place to take a ConstructSafe test
A testing centre is the only place where you can take the ConstructSafe test.
There are some that you can visit, and some that can visit your place of work.

How do they work?
A ConstructSafe testing centre can be set up anywhere with a stable Internet connection.
A test centre has at least one test supervisor who oversees testing.
The testing environment must be fair and transparent.
Test centres can be in a fixed place, or mobile so that they can visit multiple work areas.
Testing centres can be open to the public, or internal for employers to test only their people.
A testing centre keeps records of each test candidate, and is audited by ConstructSafe.
Can I become a testing centre?
ConstructSafe testing centres must provide a fair and transparent testing environment, and the equipment that a candidate needs to take the ConstructSafe test.
Each test centre must have at least one test supervisor who will conduct the testing and this can be either at your own premises, or at a clients premises that you intend to visit.
Test centres can either test only their own staff, or can become an open test centre, which will allow candidates to contact them to book a test.
The Testing centre procedures document in this site will give you more detail, and if you would like to become a testing centre, contact ConstructSafe using the form to the right.
Where is the nearest testing centre?
ConstructSafe tests are conducted nationwide, with more testing centres being accredited all the time.
All you need to do is book a test at a testing centre, and arrive on time.
When you pass your ConstructSafe test, you will be added to the national database, and will receive your ConstructSafe card.
